People Matter IW was originally set up with support from Age UK, Isle of Wight Society for the Blind, Older Voices and John’s Club. Representatives from these organisations formed the interim Board of Directors of People Matter IW.
People Matter IW is there for any adult who defines themselves as having support needs and carers of people who have support needs.
The Mission Statement of People Matter IW states that “Our vision is to ensure that the people resident on the Isle of Wight are enabled to shape and direct the support and/or services that they need to live the life they choose.”
